Creative Recovery?
Research with the World Cities Culture Forum on member-city policy responses to post-Covid challenges in the creative industries.
Creative Recovery? was an interdepartmental collaboration between King’s College London and the World Cities Culture Forum, led by Policy Institute at King’s. In the aftermath of the economic impact of Covid-19 on the cultural and creative industries, the project examined how municipal policy responses from the Forum’s 40+ member cities were used to bolster economic recovery.
Working as an Undergraduate Research Fellow with the Policy Institute, I worked across two areas. I scoped existing policy responses from the WCCF member cities, compiling a database of findings which I coded responses for later analysis. I also supported the design of a survey to be administered to municipal leaders among the Forum at the WCCF Summit 2022 hosted in Helsinki.
