Context
I'm an interdisciplinary researcher investigating night-time urbanism and cultural policy – mapping how cities behave after dark and examining what governance structures miss.
Currently studying architecture at The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, my work explores how urban spaces transform temporally, who nocturnal environments serve, and how design and policy interventions shape possibilities for inclusive nighttime urban life.

Background
Previously studied Liberal Arts (Politics Major) at King's College London, where interests in cultural policy, institutional analysis, and spatial justice began developing. Between 2021-2024, worked as Research Assistant on projects examining urban cultural policy responses to COVID-19, assessment practices for international students, and museological practices in the Gulf region—experiences that continue informing current work on institutional analysis and policy processes.
Led The King's Players theatre society as President and served as Vice President of KCL Irish Society, deepening understanding of how spaces shape community and cultural expression.
Approach
My work combines spatial investigation with attention to policy, institutional structures, and whose voices shape urban governance. Core principles include:
- Interdisciplinary thinking connecting spatial, cultural, and policy questions
- Methods that illuminate lived experience and institutional processes
- Research addressing tangible needs and real communities
- Moving between scales—individual experience to urban governance
- Attention to questions of access, equity, and justice
Looking Ahead
Following undergraduate studies, planning to pursue Master's level work in urban policy or related fields. Interested in research assistant roles, internships, or positions in policy and advocacy—particularly work focused on night-time policy, urban governance, or spatial justice.
